Dear Ben:
There is too much background to easily fill in and I am fine after a few uncertain days, but I had the following conversation with the Rector of my school – the man who signs the check! He is extremely happy with what I am doing in French. Loves everything about it. He loves the way the kids speak French – he hears them out and about! He says the criticism is that (and it’s coming from my colleagues) that my curriculum is dumbed down. He wants me to give him stuff to read so that he can refute those ideas. He has even talked to the Principal about finding similar methodology to teach other subject matter. I would interested to get the group response for articles, blog posts – a kind of CI 101 to make a smallish packet for him to look over. Interesting, huh?
